Business Wide View
Ongoing strategic development connecting producer priorities, agricultural technology and market opportunities through business planning, partnership proposals and a practical approach to field validation and commercialization.

Overview
EXA Group Canada supports Business Wide View’s ongoing strategic development at the intersection of agriculture, technology and rural enterprise. Led by Edmar Xavier, the work brings producer priorities into business planning, partnership development and commercialization discussions. Current planning connects field-validation concepts with market development, skills, agritourism and rural diversification, creating a framework for evaluating opportunities before wider implementation and investment.
The work considers how a producer-centred model can connect technology, field experience and commercial opportunity. It organizes possible relationships among farmers, ranchers, technology developers and research partners, alongside the business requirements for future activities. The focus is on giving strategic ideas a practical structure so that opportunities can be assessed, developed and taken forward through appropriate partnerships.
The challenge
Agricultural technologies need to respond to real producer needs and demonstrate value in operating conditions. The challenge is to connect farmers, ranchers, technology developers and research partners through a viable business model, while coordinating market opportunities, partnership development and rural diversification within a clear direction for the next stage of development.
Our work
- Prepared business development strategy and strategic project planning materials, bringing the company’s opportunities and proposed workstreams into a coherent direction.
- Structured an approach to producer engagement and potential technology and research partnerships, with practical agricultural needs informing the business model.
- Developed a proposed field-validation and market-development partnership approach to connect technology opportunities with producer contexts and commercial development.
- Connected commercialization planning with skills development, agritourism and rural diversification, considering how complementary activities could contribute to the company’s evolving model.
Outputs
- A business development strategy and draft strategic project and feasibility planning materials.
- A field-validation and market-development partnership proposal supporting further development discussions.
- An ongoing agenda connecting producer needs with technology, skills, market opportunities and rural enterprise.
