STRONG FARM & RURAL SHORES DESTINATIONS
Eastern Shore Research & Development
After delivering the business plan and feasibility analysis for the Sustainable Calmness Wave project to Ataraxy Farm, EXA Group Canada decided to invest in research in the Eastern Shore region of Nova Scotia.
The Eastern Shore region is under the administration of Halifax and comprises the entire area between Fisherman's Cove and Ecum Secum. There are approximately 70 communities with an average population of 30,000 inhabitants.
We partnered with mechanical engineer Thiago Pereira, owner of TP Photography and Videography, to perform aerial drone mapping of some Eastern Shore communities and understand the opportunities this rural area can offer.
The surveys are aligned with the expected results, guided by different international guidelines (UN, UNWTO, OECD, WEF).
